Universal fit

One size, and nothing to measure. The sponge-faced panel drops into the gap and takes up whatever slack is there, so it suits the ordinary gap between a front seat and a centre console instead of one exact model. Nothing is screwed, clipped or glued: it drops in in a second, and lifts straight out whenever you want it out.

Buying notes

It is not cut to a particular car. The sponge-faced panel drops into the gap and takes up whatever slack is there, so it suits the ordinary gap between a front seat and a centre console. Lift it out before you push the seat all the way back.

There is no charger in it. The notch in the inner divider is there so a cable you already have plugged in can pass through the tray.

Wipe the leather with a damp cloth.

Fitted before you have closed the door

There is nothing to screw, clip or stick. It drops in under its own weight and comes out the same way.

What the gap costs you, every single drive

Everyone knows the sound. Something goes over the edge, and it is gone until you park.

A moulded tray, not a padded pouch

The difference matters the first time you drop something heavy into it.

Macro of the keyhole notch cut through the inner divider with a charging cable running up through it
Run your charging cable up through the notch in the divider and it stays where you put it, instead of being pinched under the tray or disappearing back down the gap.

Before
The same gap with the organizer fitted, its leather band flush along the seat edge
After

The same gap, twice

The reason people buy this, and the same gap ten seconds later.

A phone slides off the seat at the first roundabout
It lands in the tray, at the same height as your hand
Cards and coins end up under the seat rail
They stay in the short compartment behind the divider
You pull over, or drive to the end of the trip without it
You reach down and pick it up without looking away from the road
A drink has to live in the console, across the gear selector
It sits in the moulded well by your left knee

Against the foam strip it will sit next to

Both fill the gap. Only one of them gives you anything back for the space.

This organizer

  • A divided tray and a moulded cup well on top of a filled gap
  • Your phone goes in the long compartment, within reach without looking
  • A drink stands in the round well, which takes a can or a takeaway cup
  • A matched pair arrives, one unit shaped for each front seat
  • Lift it out by the leather band and it comes straight up

A plain gap filler strip

  • A filled gap, and nothing on top of it
  • Your phone goes back on the seat beside you, where it started
  • A drink has nowhere to go, because a filler strip has no cup holder
  • Commonly sold as a single strip, covering one side
  • Held in by compression, so it has to be worked back out

What arrives

Two units, not one. They are handed, so one is shaped for the driver's side of the console and one for the passenger's.

Three ways to match your cabin

Same organizer, three leathers. Black is stitched in red, gray in cream, brown in its own colour.

The three colourways in a row at the same angle: black, gray and brown

Before you order

Two. One box is a matched pair, and the two units are handed: one is shaped for the driver's side of the console and one for the passenger's. Most listings for this shape sell a single piece, which is why it is worth saying plainly.

No. There are no electronics in this product at all. What it has is a notch cut through the inner divider so a cable already plugged into your car can pass through the tray instead of being pinched under it. Some marketplace listings for this shape describe that notch as a charging port. It is not one.

Almost certainly. It is not cut to a particular model: the sponge-faced panel drops into the gap and takes up whatever slack is there, which is why it suits the ordinary gap between a front seat and a centre console across most cars. If it does not suit yours, send it back within 7 days.

Yes. Nothing is fixed to the car, so the seat slides on its rail as normal. If you are pushing the seat all the way back, lift the organizer out first and drop it back in afterwards. That takes a second, and it is the one habit worth having with it.

It sits alongside the buckle rather than over it, and the buckle stays standing and reachable. Buckle positions do vary between cars, so seat it, then buckle up once before you drive off.

Wipe the leather with a damp cloth. The inner tray is moulded plastic, so it wipes out the same way if a drink goes over in it.
